Overview

These terms apply to your use of the Wren Home Android app and the wrenhome.app website. By using either, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language — we want this to be easy to understand.

Using the app

Wren Home is free to download and use. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may set it as the home screen app on any Android device you own or manage on behalf of a family member.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent or disable any security features

No warranty

Wren Home is provided "as is", without any warranty. We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee it will be free of bugs or available at all times. Use it at your own risk.

In particular, we are not responsible for any consequences of the app being unavailable or behaving unexpectedly in emergency situations. Always ensure the person using the device can access emergency services independently of Wren Home.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or website. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app (which, since it's free, is zero).

Intellectual property

The Wren Home name, logo, app, and website content are our property. You may not use them without permission, except to refer to the app by name in a factual way (e.g. writing a review or recommending it to someone).

Third-party services

Wren Home uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics) to collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics, as described in our Privacy Policy. The app and website may also link to other third-party services, such as the Google Play Store. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

Changes to the app or terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when the terms change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time, though we'll try to give reasonable notice if we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
